Network 10 with the backing of Surf Life Saving Australia and Sports Entertainment Limited, will be screening four live broadcasts, including round five at Coolum on Sunday, February 17th - 2013, and the Noosa final eliminator on the 24th. See some of Australia’s favourite Ironman and Ironwoman competitors in action, including Shannon Eckstein, Matt Poole, Zane Holmes, Caine Eckstein, Ky Hurst, Courtney Hancock and Elizabeth Pluimers. Local Start Time: IronWomen (11:30am-12:30pm), IronMen (1:30pm-3:30pm)
Pursuit: The pursuit consists of three individual races and one full Ironman race.
1. Ski | 2. Board | 3. Swim | 4. Full Ironman
The buoys will be set for the full Ironman Race and individual races will take place as follows:
Individual swim race will be around the board buoys (2 x middle buoys)
Individual board race will be around the ski buoys
Individual ski race will be a loop around the ski buoys, back in and around (only as far as) the board buoys, back out around the ski buoys and in to the shore to finish
Full Ironman course to finish as normal
Most accumulated points wins.
Television: Network Ten 2-5pm AEDST
