This year we will be kicking off at 7.30pm and running until 1pm, with a free glass of champagne upon arrival.
Cooltown Event Organizer Mark Pico (who also puts the music together for Golden Days Festival,
The Big Pineapple Music Festival and the Lighthouse Parties) promises this will be incredible night to remember packed with great music great vibes and good people to take us into the New Year.
Dress to impress..
Go a little wild and dress up, basically whatever you feel comfortable in - after all it is New Years Eve and it only happens once a year. Just remember to bring your dancing shoes because these bands go off!! yeeeewwwww :)
There’ll be a fully licenced bar with a fine selection of foods - full meals available from Hungry Wolf Catering and beautiful finger food from Japanese Yums.

Brisbane based Cheap Fakes are a five piece band whose sound is not defined by styles or genres. Predominantly steeped in off beat guitars and catchy melodies, the band have been performing their fusion of funk, pop, ska, reggae and dance music to captivated audiences since 2009.

They hail from the Gold Coast, but Tijuana Cartel have built a firm reputation for beats that span the globe. Multi-layered grooves, touches of slide and flamenco guitar, trumpet,Vocals and Afro Cuban Percussion mixed with some hardened electronica – it’s a combo that’s intriguing, energetic and utterly delicious! Constant touring here and abroad and an enduring love affair with live gigs give these guys a very raw and electric energy.
