We are running sessions at the moment on Friday 3.30pm to 5pm, Sat 8am to 11am and 1pm to 3pm, Sunday 7am to 9pm, Thurs 5.45am to 7.15am and 3.30pm to 5pm.

Coolum Surfing School is a SURFING AUSTRALIA and SURFING QUEENSLAND licensed surf school. The Coolum Surfing School team is highly experienced, professional and passionate male and female accredited coaches will guarantee you the most fun and personal surf lessons available.
Surfing is a lifestyle, and the best surfer is the one having the most amount of fun. Here at CSS we will ensure you will have the most memorable day so you leave with a huge smile and plenty of memories. There’s nothing better than riding a wave all the way to the beach, as they say “Only a surfer know the feeling!”

There are all types of lessons available; Shortboard, Longboard even Bodyboards.

We cater for all age’s and sizes. One on one lessons (private), groups, schools, camps and corporate team building are all available daily throughout the year.
1.5hr PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons are ideal for individuals, families, friends and children of all ages. Available 7 days a week sun up to sun down. The guest gets to choose what day and time. Private lessons are best progressive learning available. Booking is Essential. All lesson prices include all equipment (proper size learner soft board, wet shirt, sunscreen and accredited surf coach)

Cost is
1.5hr Private surf lesson for one person $110
1.5hr Private surf lesson for two people $75 each
1.5hr Private surf lesson for three people $65 each
1.5hr Private surf lesson for four or more people $60 each
2 hr GROUP LESSONS
Join our schedule group beginner’s class, run every day of school holidays or Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 11am.
Cost is
2hr Beginner surf lesson $55
3 Beginner surf lessons for $150
5 Beginner surf lessons for $200
Price includes all equipment proper sized soft learner surf board, wet suit (if needed), wet shirt and accredited surf coach.
BOARD HIRE
Did it cost too much to fly with your board so you left it at home, or maybe you just need a little practice on a soft board before buying your own surfboard? Whatever your need CSS has a wide variety of soft and hard surfboards available to hire. We can also hire body boards and Stand up Paddle Boards (SUP) that includes paddle. Chris and Genevieve Kendall started Coolum Surfing School in 2001 with a dream to become one of the coasts most prestigious and professional surf schools. Offering lessons from beginners to advanced surfers, all levels of fitness and available from sun up to sun down. We specialise in private tuition and have made it affordable to encourage all people, young and old, individuals and families to experience this fun, active and iconic sport.

CORPORATE/TEAM BULIDING DAYS
Are you stressed out and need to wash away your worries. Why not get your staff together for a fun, active, tax-effective Team Building/Staff Days at the beach. Surfing is great sport to relax, enjoy the ocean, get some sun and of course is excellent for team building, boosting staff moral and building confidence. We can cater to your needs and design packages to your schedule.
We offer beach activities from Learn to Surf, Learn to Body Board, Stand up Paddle (SUP) lessons, Surf Awareness and Beach Team Building Games. We are available for lessons all year round. Coolum has easy bus parking; public toilets and a shaded picnic area so why not have us cater your lunch and refreshments afterwards in the park.
All coaches are fully accredited through Surfing Australia; we have both male and female level 1 &2 coaches available. All lessons include soft safe proper sized surf boards, wet shirts, wet suits and sunscreen. We can even supply hard surfboards for the clients that can surf already but didn’t bring their boards with them.
We can also add to your package, catering, supply your company logo on polo shirts, caps, key rings and personal photos so everyone can remember the day they caught their first wave to the beach.
