The Coolum Tennis Club has excellent facilities for either social or competition tennis for all age groups. Four recently surfaced plexipave courts and two artificial grass courts for public hire are situated behind the Coolum Aquatic Centre off David Low Way just north of the main Coolum township.
The Club coach is Andrew Ash. He may be contacted by phoning 0421391505 or by e-mail at coolum@ashtennis.com
On weekdays and Saturday mornings, court hire is available through the coach, Andrew Ash at the courts by phoning 54462482 or 0421391505.On Saturday afternoons and Sundays, daytime court hire is available by contacting staff at the Coolum Aquatic Centre on (07) 54739042. The rate is $15 per hour. Night hire can be arranged by contacting the President, Des Adsett on (07) 54461415 or 0416054485 or the Treasurer, Mark Caruana on 0424006570. The rate is $20 per hour.
The Club fields teams in Ladies, Mixed, N.D.T.A. Threes (gender neutral), Veterans and Junior fixtures.
Ladies fixture players can be registered by contacting the Secretary, Noelene Cook. Night fixture players should be registered through the Club Captain, Adam Spence on 0400214419.
Junior fixture players can be registered through the coach Andrew Ash.
Wheelchair Tennis Players Contact is Jesse Hinson. (Ph 0417 774 825) Visitors and non-members are invited to participate in Social Tennis on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday mornings from 7.30 am till mid-day and on Wednesday nights from 7pm.

Supplementary services
1. Retail: Ash Tennis, supplies an equipment sales service in a pro-shop in the clubhouse in space provided by the Club during the hours of 9am to 5.30 pm. weekdays, 7.30 pm to 12.00 pm on Saturdays.
A 15% discount will be offered to members for all products and services available through the proshop. These discounts, and the level of the discounts, are directed towards membership benefits and the recruiting of new members through coaching activities. The target for additional membership specifically from this source is a minimum of 20 new members per annum. With a wide assortment of brands and products there will be something suitable at an appropriate price point for everyone. Customer payment options are via cash, cheque, eftpos or online banking. 2. Racquet Restringing: As part of the supplementary services, a discount of 15% is offered to members for racquet restringing unless a higher discount is offered to members as a ‘members only’ special for limited periods.
An example of this would be say a 25% discount to members offered only during the Australian Open. 3. Café:
A small canteen offering, cold drinks serves as an attraction to potential participants and help to nurture the community and social aspects of the Centre. Club Development
Andrew Ash participates in various Club Development activities including;
*Educate and encourage all pupils on correct dress and court etiquette.
* He will be available for consultation in the selection of players for competitions, club championship and event seedings, should the Club’s
committee request such assistance. *Assist in the coordination of club promotional activities (i.e. open days), as
outlined in the services description. *Embrace Tennis Australia strategies and management tools where relevant.
*Seek to provide, at all times, the full depth and breadth of tennis services
