*(NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PERSONS WITH CARDIAC OR BREATHING PROBLEMS)*
You will require a medium level of fitness for the walk. The walk takes half to one hour to the top with the view increasing with the height. The time needed to walk is 2.5 to 4 hours.
You should wear strong walking shoes and insect repellent is strongly recommended. Always take some water with you whenever you are walking in the bush.
The special features include the view at the top which extends from Noosa National Park to the high rise Buildings of Caloundra and includes the cane fields and Maroochy River.
From the top, where there is a beacon, a track winds down from under telegraph poles to Toolga Street and a return journey can be made via suburban streets (Toolga and Tannah Streets) and the signposted walk after Arlington Street called "Scribbly Gum Walk" back to the car park. Although this track has parts with slippery She-Oak needles, it is less intrepid, particularly for those with vertigo. This route takes about one to one and a half hours.
