The association has played an integral part in the development of the Marcoola Beach region. Some of the projects instigated by the association include:

• The drainage and bitumen road works along the Marcoola Beach Esplanade north of the Marcoola Surf Club
• The sun shade covers over the playground in the Felix Parry Park (next to Surf Club)
• The upgrade of BBQ's and shelters in the Felix Parry Park
• Tidy up along the park and dune area
• Clean Beach Challenge
• Presentation of submission to the Maroochy Shire Council & Maroochydore Airport Management against the extension of the runway

 Meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of every month at 7.00pm at the Marcoola Surf Club, downstairs in the club room. The meetings are usually attended by 10 - 30 people and visitors are always welcome.
